Conservative Buddhists of America

The Conservative Buddhists of America website was created to be a platform for information and discussion of the conservative nature of Buddhism and how it can bring positive societal change to our country.   We have found that traditional Buddhism is actually far more conservative than the many forms presented to the American public by the majority liberal followers of Buddhism here in America.  We follow the Theravada Buddhist teachings of the Dhammakaya tradition as presented by the Masters and current Monks of Wat Phra Dhammakaya.  This traditional form of Buddhism is far more conservative, and we feel that it can be better appreciated, understood, and accepted by the conservative citizenry of our country.  

Conservative Buddhism in the Dhammakaya tradition can be the perfect vehicle for those that want a change from being atheist, agnostic, Christion, or a follower of another belief.  It can bring an individual to a better understanding of the importance of leading a moral and ethical life.  It can raise an individual to a higher personal and spiritual level.  If we could all follow the basic tenets found in this more traditional form of Buddhism, it would bring an amazing positive societal change to our country and the world.
